Publication "Assessing the investment potential ofhousing markets in the regions andcities of Russia"
The present study analyzes the investmentattractiveness of regional housing markets and housing markets ofcities with a population of over 100 thousand people. The analysis ofregional housing markets identified the following market groups asmore attractive for investment in different segments of residentialconstruction. It is shown that large cities and rapidly developingmetropolises determine the investment attractiveness of theregion’s housing markets.
Workshop “Smart cities: potential and perspective of the development in the Russian regions”
Institute for regional studies and urban planning of the NRU Higher school of economics held the workshop on the theme of features of smart cities development. The main themes for discussion were: the role of «smart city» in the context of sustainable regional development: the growth driver or marketing hint; international and national approaches to the definition of «smart city»; the potential of the Russian regions for creation of «smart cities»: the search for organizational-economic mechanisms. The representatives of Executive authorities of RF subjects, Regional centers of cluster development, representatives of financial structures and leading venture capital funds are invited took place in the workshop. Round table held with the informational support of “Rossiyskaya geazeta”: Russia Beyond the headlines and Urban magazine.

The seminar was organized by the Institute for regional studies and urban planning HSE together with state unitary enterprise «Institute of General plan of Moscow». The seminar was devoted to the urgent issues of sustainable development of megacities, and the necessity or possibility of introduction of the «green economy» principles in all spheres of the functioning of the city.

The seminar was organized by the Institute for regional studies and urban planning and the Institute for state and municipal management of HSE together with state unitary enterprise «Institute of General plan of Moscow» and was devoted to issues of development of the labour market, including the creation of new highly qualified jobs, both in the old and new Moscow.

The expert panel "Efficient governance mechanisms for the implementation of the strategy of socio-economic development of the region" of the XII all-Russian forum «Strategic planning in regions and cities of Russia»(Moderators: A.V. Klimenko, Vice-rector of the Higher school of Economics, Director of the Institute of state and municipal management, I.N. Ilyin, Director of the Institute for regional studies and urban planning), organized by the Institute of regional studies and urban planning, was devoted to the discussion of the topical issues of creating an efficient system of management for the implementation of strategies of social and economic development of the regions of Russia.

PLiseckij took part in the work of two round tables: №1 «Features of formation of the measures of state support for the development of urban agglomerations in the Russian Federation» and №2 «Problems of implementation of the documents of territorial planning of the Federal, regional and municipal levels». In the framework of the round table No. 2, devoted to the problems of territorial planning, Irina N.
